At the Faculty Deanship Meeting Hall on 10 November 2025 at 14:00, the Faculty Board meeting held by the new faculty administration addressed in detail two important agenda items directly concerning the faculty’s administrative structure. First, an election was conducted to determine the new professor representative to serve on the Faculty Executive Board, replacing Prof. Dr. Zeynep Yılmaz Kurt, whose term of office ended on 11 November 2025. The election process, carried out with the participation of faculty members, was concluded with the evaluation of the candidates and the sharing of opinions regarding their potential contributions to the functioning of the board.
Under the second agenda item, an election was held to fill the professor representative position vacated following the resignation of Prof. Dr. Sabit Duman. In this election as well, board members expressed their views with the aim of identifying the most suitable candidate to contribute to the faculty’s academic and administrative operations. The elections for both representative positions were concluded with the unanimous vote and active participation of the board members.
The meeting ended after a comprehensive discussion of the agenda items and the completion of the election processes. Subsequently, the new administration held an additional meeting to enhance cooperation with department heads.
