DEAN’S MESSAGE

Muş Alparslan University; It is one of the 17 new universities established with the entry into force of the "Law on the Organization of Higher Education Institutions" No. 5662 and the Decree Law on the Staff of Academic Staff in Higher Education Institutions and the Tables Annexed to the Decree Law on the General Staff and Procedure, published in the Official Gazette on 29/05/2007.

Faculty of Arts and Sciences in Muş Alparslan University; It is the center of production of knowledge. Our faculty, which has an active place in the fields of Science and Social Sciences, with its administrative structure and developing academic staff, aims to raise scientists who know and use the ways of accessing information, love their profession, cultured, sensitive to the problems of the country, humanists, have ethical values and will contribute to the development of the country, in line with the goals determined within the framework of the mission and vision of the institution. For this goal, it continues on its way with its dynamic administrative and academic staff, supports and carries out cultural and artistic activities within the responsibility of working in the fields of Science and Social Sciences, and adopts a scientific education approach in line with the requirements of the age to raise awareness of current social problems.

In our faculty; There are 12 departments: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Sociology, History, Turkish Language and Literature, Kurdish Language and Literature, Philosophy, Psychology, English Language and Literature, Eastern Languages and Literature, Molecular Biology and Genetics Department. The Departments of Sociology, History, Turkish Language and Literature, Philosophy, Psychology, Molecular Biology and Genetics, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of our faculty have completed their establishment by making great progress with their branches of science, and the Department of Eastern Languages and Literature is also in the process of being established. There are a total of 1400 students at the 4-year undergraduate level in our faculty. Our faculty serves with 84 faculty members and 7 administrative staff.

In line with its basic mission, it has adopted the principle of working for the development of the region and the solution of the problems of the region by educating individuals who have national and international values and are competent in their field in the light of scientific knowledge, with a human-centered education approach, Faculty of Arts and Sciences administrators, faculty members and administrative staff; We aim to create the best conditions for you, our dear students. Throughout your education here, our academic and administrative staff aim to raise you, our precious young people and children, who are the trust of our nation, in the best possible way.
