The futsal tournament organized by our faculty came to an end with an exciting final match. In the final game, held on May 8 between 17:00 and 17:45, the Department of History faced off against the Department of Kurdish Language and Literature. After a highly competitive and thrilling match, the Department of History defeated its opponent and became the champion of the tournament.
The final match brought together not only students but also members of the protocol. Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican, and the Muş Provincial Director of Youth and Sports, Yusuf Kılıç, watched the match from the stands and shared the excitement of the students. A large number of students and academics also attended the tournament, creating a lively and enthusiastic atmosphere in the stands.
Throughout the tournament, the teams displayed sportsmanship and a strong sense of fair play, which added great value to the organization. The tournament, which attracted significant interest, concluded with an award ceremony following the final match. Trophies and medals were presented to the champion Department of History and the other ranked teams by our Rector, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican, and the Muş Provincial Director of Youth and Sports, Yusuf Kılıç.
Strengthening friendship, solidarity, and team spirit among students, the futsal tournament ended with colorful moments and unforgettable memories.
