The meeting on planning course schedules and classroom allocation for the Spring Semester of the 2025–2026 Academic Year was held on January 26, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. in the Dean’s Meeting Hall.
Coordinated by Vice Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Alanoğlu, the meeting comprehensively addressed the course schedules for the educational activities to be carried out during the spring semester. Within this scope, draft schedules prepared based on the weekly distribution of course hours, student numbers, and course content were evaluated, and planning was conducted considering classroom capacities and available physical facilities.
Additionally, the meeting focused on measures to ensure balanced classroom allocation in line with the opinions and requests of academic units, the effective and efficient use of existing classrooms, and the prevention of potential disruptions in the educational process. In preparing the course schedules, factors such as student density, the nature of the courses, and the teaching workload of academic staff were also taken into account.
During the discussions, compliance with the academic calendar, minimizing course overlaps, and ensuring the smooth execution of courses were emphasized. Furthermore, the importance of strengthening coordination among academic units, evaluating solution proposals for potential practical issues, and implementing necessary adjustments in a timely manner was highlighted.
At the end of the meeting, it was decided that the work on the Spring Semester course schedules and classroom allocation for the 2025–2026 Academic Year would be completed according to the established timetable, that the necessary updates would be made by the relevant units, and that the process for publishing the final schedules would be initiated.
