The Faculty Board Meeting was held on January 8, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the Dean’s Meeting Hall. During the meeting, important agenda items concerning the academic and administrative processes of the faculty were discussed.
The first agenda item was the election of a professor representative to the Faculty Executive Board following the retirement of Prof. Dr. Tamella Aliyeva. As a result of the evaluations and voting, Prof. Dr. Murad Aydın Şanda was elected as the professor representative to the Faculty Executive Board.
The second agenda item focused on the request submitted by the Department of History to add new courses to the curriculum within the scope of the accreditation process. Following the presentations and evaluations, the request was submitted to the board members for consideration in line with the objective of strengthening academic standards and enhancing the quality of education.
The meeting concluded after the agenda items were finalized.
