Muş Alparslan University's Faculty of Arts and Sciences continues to make a name for itself nationally and internationally with its scientific achievements. Most recently, Prof. Dr. Talat Körpınar, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences and Vice Rector, earned a place on the "World's Most Influential Scientists" list, one of the world's most prestigious academic rankings. Prof. Dr. Körpınar, who has drawn attention with his high-quality scientific work and high-impact publications in mathematics, has been a source of great pride for both our faculty and our university.
This prestigious list, prepared under the coordination of Stanford University and in collaboration with Elsevier, is compiled by taking into account objective criteria such as academics' scientific productivity, citations to their publications, field impact, and academic visibility. Only academics who have made the highest global impact are included in this evaluation. The inclusion of a faculty member from Muş Alparslan University's Faculty of Arts and Sciences in this ranking clearly demonstrates our faculty's scientific depth and international competitiveness.
In addition to Prof. Dr. Talat Körpınar in Mathematics, Prof. Dr. Ercan Bursal in Chemistry, and Prof. Dr. Zeliha Körpınar, also a faculty member of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, successfully represented our university in the Mathematics category. This development clearly demonstrates the scientific maturity and research capacity achieved by the Faculty of Arts and Sciences' versatile academic staff.
