The project submitted by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muhammet Yücel, one of our faculty members, to the TÜBİTAK 1001 Program, one of the most prestigious research initiatives in our country, has been accepted.
The 2024 2nd term results of the 1001 Program, conducted by the TÜBİTAK Research Support Programs Directorate, have been announced. Only 17.4 percent of the projects submitted in the Social and Human Sciences category (SOBAG) have been approved. Dr. Yücel's project has succeeded in being one of the limited number of projects accepted nationwide in the field of History.
Within the scope of this project, our faculty member will conduct a comprehensive study on the Sassanid period material cultural assets registered in more than ten museums in Turkey.
