Associate Professor Dr. Muhammet Yücel, a faculty member of the History Department of our Faculty of Arts and Sciences, has been accepted to the Vienna-based Austrian Academy of Sciences (Österreichische Akademie der Wissenschaften/ÖAW), Joint Excellence in Science and Humanities (JESH) program for his project titled Sylloge Nummorum Sasanidarum-Turkey on Sassanid coins. Within the scope of this project, it is planned to publish the Turkey volume of the SNS series on Sassanid coins.
